Imported from the Tai Lake in China, our Bi Lo Chun has a very calming aroma with slight scents of apricot. When tasting, a sweetness not found in any other Chinese green tea hits your front palate with a clean finish of charcoal grilled endive. This tea, to us, defines what green tea should taste like.
Ingredients: Bi Lo Chun Tea •
Why it’s Special:
** Bi Lo Chun is a popular tea in China, historically reserved for Emperors
** Each leaf consists of two leaves and a bud
** Contains a sweetness not found in any other Chinese Green Tea
** Has a clean finish of charcoal grilled endive
** A sugary aroma with hints of orchids and jasmine
What to be Careful of:
** It is not as “green” tasting as a lot of Green Teas
** Has an astringent bite that is prized by Chinese tea connoisseurs
** It has a strange name. The English translation is “Spring Snail Shell”
** Where as Japanese Green Teas are rich and bothy, this is light and clean
** Be cautious when you store it. If this tea is not kept airtight its flavor will fade away quickly
