I have been a tea drinker for years and by far golden moon is the best quality I’ve had in a long time.

Ever since I visited Sri Lanka and found Golden Moon tea carried an amazing tea Singharaja estates/ have enjoyed every sip

This black tea is really delicious - much like another reviewer, I also drink it black and it's not bitter at all. I'll definitely be ordering it again!

One of our favorites. If like us you drink it black, without milk or sugar, you might try cutting the brew time to 3 1/2 minutes. That makes for a smoother effect, while still giving you the full flavor.

Every time I order, I always add on a new tea. This time was Sinharaja. It was quite good, as I most enjoy strong black teas in the morning.

But my absolute favorite remains Irish Breakfast tea.

My friend recommended Golden Moon and I’m so happy she did. I ordered 3 different teas, French Breakfast, Sinharaja, Keemun, and they are all delicious. My favorite is Keehum which has a strong flavor with a hint of smokiness which gives it a subtle, different taste.

I was wanting to try one of your teas that I've never had before and when I read that this tea is Golden Moon's owner's morning cup of tea with a touch of milk and honey, I thought, "If it's good enough for the owner, it's got to be good". So, I bought it. I was not disappointed. As always, I like the way you package your teas in resealable, airtight foil bags. And ordering, shipping, and delivering is always hassle-free. I would recommend Sinharaja for those who enjoy a smooth, yet strong black tea. I love it both "straight" (no cream or sugar) and also with a dash of cream.

Nice packaging; leaves are intact and inviting; beautiful color and aroma; complex taste as noted; clear, clean finish.

This tea is flavorful but mellow and appeals to my wife who is not really black tea fan. Of the three teas we purchased (Golden Monkey and Lap Sang are the other two), this is my favorite.

I have quite a bit of experience with Ceylon tea and I think this is one of the best I've tried
It is suitable for those who love tea that gives an illusion of dark chocolate and tobacco flavors
They are flavors that I can feel and I never mean they are added to tea

Delicate flavor I enjoy on some mornings with a cup of this tea. I like to alternate other days with a much stronger tea - Pū-er. With the fast service I Can order just two days before I’m about ready to run out of tea. That way I always get the freshest tea for my morning beverage to start the day.

I drink a LOT of tea and this is a new favorite! A little oat milk, agave, Sinharaja and I enjoy more than dessert!!

I tried this tea on a whim (usually a chai or earl grey drinker), and wow do I love it. It’s rich, pairs well with frothed oat milk, and is a great cup to kickoff my morning.

This pure black tea has a lovely aroma and taste. Could be gentle and light or distinctive and strong. All depends on your state of mind and quantity of this exquisite tea!

It is one of my favorites, but all teas from Golden Moon are good. I appreciate that it is loose, not bagged. I like this one plain and the overtones are interesting. I have been ordering tea from Golden Moon for many years and I am always pleased with the quality and service.

When it comes to black teas, my usual selections have been from the Keemun, Dian Hong, or Golden Monkey styles. I wanted something different and this fits in nicely.

I’ve tried it with and without cream and sugar. To me, it’s better with the latter option. The flavors of cocoa and something fruity that I cannot yet identify come through and make for a really pleasant cup of tea.

Have SINHARAJA in regular rotation for my morning tea. Delicious with milk and sugar. You can’t go wrong with it.

This is my first time trying this tea. It has a more subtle flavor than I had anticipated. I drink it with oat milk and honey. I will be buying it again.

I have been ordering from Golden Moon Tea for several years and love their quality teas. I love the Organic teas and appreciate that their products are free of harmful chemicals. This has been a long time favorite tea. The sweet notes are perfectly balanced. The first infusion can take on raw sugar and milk, but just as good plain. The second infusion reminds me of a good oolong tea. I am rarely without this tea in my cupboard.

I have been buying Golden Moon teas for many years, & without doubt Sinharaja is the one bag I most often grab in the morning for my first tea of the day. It's smooth & delicious with sweetener & milk, & I can usually get 2 cups from 1 scoop of leaves. A most delightful brew! My other favorite choices are Masala Chai & Keemun. Golden moon tea has become the only tea I drink. The Sinharaja is my go to tea in the afternoon or evening. Very smooth full flavor tea. All the teas I’ve tried I liked but this is a favorite for sure.

My friend, who grew up in and traveled often to China, began bringing me the most exquisite teas. Nothing that I found here compared. Then I found Golden Moon Tea. Wonderful quality and the taste and fragrance are comparable to the tea my friend brought to me. Thank you.

I had tried sinharaja before but had forgotten how much I enjoyed it until I ordered another small bag. Had a pot on Sunday and even made another pot with the leaves. Not as strong but still so good. Sipped it all day. Back to order more today.

Sinharaja tea is my favorite black tea even though it is not organic. I know Golden Moon Tea company is an honorable tea producing company so i trust that
Sinharaja is carefully grown but would love it even more if it were certified as organic.

Love having a a few cups of this to start my day! Very strong “tea” smell and flavor. Slight earthy kick to it. Very delicious!

Sinharaja Ceylon tea is an amber colored delectable with mild caffeine effect. Great for mornings and perhaps after lunch. This is a smooth, never bitter taste that is beautifully satisfying. I tried it after I read that Marcus Stout drinks it every morning. As Golden Moon's tea guru, I figured I would drink what he drinks just to see and I am not disappointed. I recommend it highly.

I love love this tea! It has a lovely chocolate-y, robust taste without being bitter. Just how black tea should taste! This would become a regular tea for me if I knew more about the provenance and the environmental impact of harvesting the tea. Given that it's grown next to the rainforest, it would be reassuring if this product had a Rainforest Alliance certification (or equivalent).

I mostly drink my tea plain & rarely add sugar or honey, & even more rare that I add milk or cream. Been drinking Golden Moon Tea for decades...love the Irish, English, and especially, the French Breakfast blends, also the lovely Earl Grey. I had tried Sinharaja a few years ago but I forgot how terrific it is. Recently read that it's an every morning favorite of owner Marcus Stout, so I tried it again & I believe it will also be a regular for me. I'm sure it's delectable with sugar or honey & splash of milk, but I think it's delicious as a straight-up self-drinker.

And it's damn good tea, at that. Not a huge fan of the blended, super sweet tea blends. Sinharaja is by far my favorite so far. Will definitely be ordering more in the future.

I had a cup this morning. It was excellent. I vary my mornings with the Tippy Earl Grey, the Sinharaja, and the Masala Chai. This morning the Sinharaja called my name. If you haven't, you seriously need to try it.

A truly enjoyable cup of tea. The flavour reminds me of my grandmother's tea, in the old country. A tea drinkers tea, if you will. This one would probably be great as iced tea, with some lemon, as well.

I purchased this tea to use for my kombucha. I love a strong black tea, and this one is fantastic for the job. Not at all bitter after a good long steep. Will definitely purchase it again.

I've tried a lot of the teas and they're all good but Sinharaja has become my favorite black tea. It is strong but oh so smooth tasting - no bitterness at all. Have a put in a cheer for the coconut pouchong if you're in the mood for something other than black. It makes you sit up and take notice of its delightful fragrance and delicious sound bite. A little bit of heaven when the time is right!

I have been a fan of Golden Moon Teas for several years and recently ordered Sinharaja, Keemun, Darjeeling and Irish Breakfast. All of which I have ordered and enjoyed in the past.
Obviously I enjoy my tea and look forward to drinking all of these recently purchased choices.

I added this tea to my order as an afterthought. I was actually purchasing some green tea, but the description of this tea sounded enticing. I'm so glad I added it. This is a strong black tea but still very smooth. All the flavor without any of the bitterness. What a great "wake me up" tea.

I love this tea! It is rich, bold, smooth and balanced, quite an accomplishment for such a powerful tea. There is an underlying hint of berry and licorice.

I received a small sample of this lovely tea and immediately sailed in and purchased a pound to drink over the holidays. I enjoy lower-elevation Sri Lankan teas, and love the deep heft of this tea, with enough sunshiny brightness to delight the senses.

Sinharaja has a rich, malty flavor, good as a self-drinker, yet able to withstand a little milk and honey (or crystallized raw sugar). It's perfect as a warm-up during the cold, dark winter.

Sinharaja is one of my favorite teas. I always make sure that I am well-stocked. Holding a steaming cup of sinharaja is a morning pleasure not to be missed. Not so strong that it knocks you over but enough of a punch to say "Good morning." It is actually good any time of day, I know, because I have enjoyed its body, mouth-feel and most of all comforting flavor at all hours. Highly recommended.

Black teas are my go to choice for morning tea. I tried Golden Moon's Sinharaja and it became my one of my top favorites. The flavor comes through even with milk and sugar. I love watching the large tea leaves unfurl in my glass infuser (also from Golden Moon!). Great product, if you enjoy black tea you must try this. Everything I have ordered from Golden Moon has been excellent.
