1 Billion Chinese can’t be wrong. And that is why jasmine tea is so popular in China. The problem is that most jasmine teas found in this country are not what the Chinese love. They are either too weak, too chemically tasting, or just low quality. That is why we use fresh jasmine flowers to scent our Jasmine Tea. We actually wait until the jasmine flowers are fluffy and in full bloom causing them to pop open and release their full flavor and scent. We then layer the flowers with pure Chinese green tea for 24 hours. We repeat this process with fresh flowers every night for seven straight days. That creates a jasmine tea that is fresh tasting and good enough to serve to even the most discerning tea drinkers from China.
Organic Jasmine Tea
We use the finest grade Yin Hao Jasmine. The tea base is full of sweet silver tea tips giving the tea extra character and complexity. Grown in the Fujian Province, the green tea is plucked early in spring when the leaves are fresh and tender. We then quickly dry the tea leaves to prevent them from curling. Next, we chill and store the green tea leaves until later in summer when the jasmine flowers are in full bloom where they are scented over seven nights.
